Jon A. McVety CAM,GRI,MPM,PPM

President

As President of the company, Jon McVety brings a wealth of experience to the clients of Realty Services Property Management Company. Currently, less than 25 people in the United States have the property management credentials that Jon has attained over the past 15 years.

Jon has earned the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) from the National Association of Realtors, the Master Property Manager (MPM) and the Professional Property Manager (PPM) designation from the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Jon is a licensed Community Association Manager (CAM), and both a mortgage broker and a real estate broker as well. Jon has also attained a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Jon applied for and received on behalf of Realty Services the prestigeous company designation "Certified Residential Management Company" (CRMC) from the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). Fewer than 10 companies hold this prestigeous designation which involves a complete audit of company policy and procedures.

Jon is dedicated to the property management industry having served on the following boards and committees:

As a founding member and on the board of directors of The National Association of Residential Property Managers, (NARPM).
As a founding member and on the board of directors of the Florida Association of Residential Property Managers (FARPM).
As a founding President and Treasurer of the Fort Myers/Cape Coral local chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM).

Donna McVety R.N, MSN, Ph.D

Vice President

Dr. Donna McVety has 30 years of diverse experience in health care, real estate investment and business involving teaching, training and development, administration, sales, marketing, and fundraising. Recently, she successfully completed a seven year contract with the University of Vermont as Executive Director of the Lee County Breast Screening Program, a national model project. Dr. McVety, who was also a research professor in the School of Medicine of the University of Vermont, has been a resident of Lee County since 1985. She is the past president of the Florida Nurses' Association, District 7 and chairman of the annual clinical excellence conference for nursing practice, held regionally for Lee, Charlotte and Hendry counties. Donna retired from nursing in 1997 and works full time in her firm, Realty Services as a real estate professional and investor.

She earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Manitoba in Canada, Master of Science in Nursing from New York University and University of Wisconsin at Madison, and her Ph.D. in Health Services from Walden University in Minneapolis. Dr. McVety is the author of 30 publications on health education, training and development and research.
Prior to joining the Lee County Breast Screening Program, she was director of Project Respite, a government-sponsored program in Lee County to assist families of handicapped and disabled children. She also has served as director of staff development for Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center, and as an assistant professor in health services with the University of Ottawa in Canada.

She worked with Nova University for five years as cluster coordinator and adjunct Faculty teaching in the Bachelor's and Master's program of the Friedt School of Business.

She has served on the boards of the following organizations: Lee County Breast Screening Program, Florida Breast & Cervical Cancer Coalition, Association of Provider Organizations in Lee County, Florida Nurses' Association, Planned Giving Council, Jonathan Harbor Townhome Association, Gulf Coast Society of Fund Raising Executives, Olsten-Upjohn Health Care Services, Florida Alliance of 100 Plus for Health Care Manpower, Allied Health Career Development Coalition of Southwest Florida, Inc., and American Society for Training & Development, Fort Myers Chapter. Dr. McVety was selected to participate in the 1994 Leadership Lee County Program and was a nominee and finalist for the 1996 Distinguished Leadership Award of the National Association for Community Leadership.

Donna specializes in lease options, owner financing and financially distressed properties.

Michael McVety

General Manager

Michael McVety brings a diverse background and expertise to Realty Services. Having 6 years military experience and having worked as a school administrator for 2 years, he has helped with the direction of Realty Services for the last 10 years.
Michael serves on several Real Estate Property Management boards to help promote professionalism in the industry as well as discuss issues with today's top leaders. He has served as:

1: President for the Lee and Collier County Chapter for the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). He has served as President for the past 3 years.
2: State President for the Florida Association of Residential Property Managers (FARPM). He has served on the state board for 6 years.
3: Vice-Presdient for the Southwest Florida Apartment Association in 2003 and involved in some capacity since 1994. He served as Affilaite-Vice President for the Naples Area Apartment Association for 3 years.

Michael has his Real Estate License and his broker's license. He attends regularly several seminars concerning a variety of subjects in property management. He has given numerous seminars, including at NARPM's 1997 National Convention and many FARPM's State Conventions, on limiting your liability, leadership, property management systems and tenant selection for various organizations across the state.
